Blue Mountains Rugbys first grade side remain on top of the competition after a 38-21 victory over Uni Of NSW in an amazing game of Rugby.The Blueys came out on fire,the forwards speedy and agressive,particularly to the breakdown,causing the visitors to have to cope with massive pressure,resulting in a string of errors.While up front was sensational,the Danny Kroll “show” took apart uni out wide,and with his magic in full cry the Blueys led 38-0 at the break.The Lappo regulars were right in expecting a 50 point plus scoreline,but the second half saw the Blueys struggle against a much more determined opposition,and whether it was the score in the back of their minds or just lethargy,they were outplayed by the visitors,but Uni were still not good enough to bridge the gap.Brad Brown was again the man of the match,playing some outstanding Rugby,while some of  Junior Leotas efforts were real crowd pleasers.

Meanwhile gun number 8 Liam Butler was best on the paddock as seconds also made it two from two with a hard fought 19-5 win,and Bully showed his blinding pace in a scorching 60 metre individual run,Colts were flogged on the scoreboard,but anyone who saw the game would be proud of these talented youngsters,led by the likes of the awesome Luke Ruttley,they battled on with only 12 men,and when the troops arrive back next week they should be a huge chance,James Ritchey was all class as thirds romped home,and Garie McEwan put in an impressive effort as fours went down narrowly.Next Saturday all eyes  at Lapstone Oval will be on the 315pm first grade fixture against Hunters Hill,not only is it the top of the table clash,and a grand final replay,but it will be a proud moment for club legend Jack Daniels who will run onto Lapstone Oval to become the most capped first grade player in the Blueys 60 year history.
