Another sensational day for the Blueys, the worst road trip of the year, every grade so important for us,and once again we aimed up and came home with a clean sweep, and plenty of positives gained all round.

1st Grade

In firsts it was Uni that had a do or die attitude towards this match and they played with plenty of determination in what was a tough 80 minutes of Rugby. We started with a try in the opening minutes, but some poor ball control let them into the game and in fact at the halfway point were down 10-8.But the longer the game went into the second spell, our passes began to stick and our superior firepower was a distinct advantage and we stormed home to win 29-15.Plenty of big hits, especially from Kiwi on the Uni fly half, who must have been wished he hadnt turned up!,Gavs kicking game was spot on,while George was strong,as was Zac,Pinno and of course Kiwi.

BM 29 ( Pinno 2 Kiwi,Leigh tries Leigh con,Gav 2 cons,pen)

2nd Grade

Seconds were probably expected to beat lowly placed Uni by a lot more than 19-7,but the home team didnt back off, they played a wide game and the Blueys aimed up well in defence most of the time, but there were periods where missed tackles gave the locals undeserved momentum, however our phase play was excellent.Yeti was outstanding and is really in white hot form in every aspect of the game at the moment.

BM 19 ( J Richey Phil Brombal B Moroney tries J Wickenden 2 cons)

The Colts scored their first ever win over Uni with a crucial 26-19 victory which see them still in fourth spot, with the ball in hteir court over the next two games as they play against St Pats and Lindfield who are in second and third place.Plenty of positives came out of the Uni victory, and prop Jed Sinclair showed once again he is not only a great linesman but a sensational Rugby player with yet another robust performance.

BM 26 (C Lowe L Ruttley T Sargeant L Croft tries T Sargeant 3 cons)

3rd Grade

The third grade juggernaut rolled on with a big 39-10 victory.Right from the start a 20 plus phase play set the scene for their dominance and they went on their merry way with a seven try romp.Afro carved them up again and destroyed anyone who got in his way,Bully provided spark and class as usual, while the silver fox put on a defence clinic for all to applaud.

BM 39 (Leighton 2 Afro,Bully,Aaron,Blake,Sam tries Sam,Jazz con)

4th Grade

A real close encounter in fours with a must win result going our way 21-19,it was tough and hard the whole way and finished with real heart attack material.Minutes to go Uni were gifted a penalty to win but missed the kick, however because we moved off the mark,he was given shot but missed that too, then on the bell Uni launched another attack but some unreal defence saw their player bundled over the line and victory was ours!..some really positive performances in a team effort, but it was speed machine Aaron Bissett who was a worthy winner of the accolades as best player on the paddock on the day.

BM 21 ( Aaron,Sam,Wade tries Derek 3 cons)
