The danger signs were there pre game,we had just got home against Epping in round 1,last week they knocked over Forest so it was going to be tough at Sommerville and thats just what it was.In recent weeks the Blueys had been playing champagne Rugby, but against Epping there was little of that, as they found themselves out enthused by the locals who caused crucial turnovers and frustrated the Blueys who were below their best. However, they still hung in there and other results mean that the top five trying to fit into four spots is even more bunched, and the boys have to play three of those sides in the next three games,so they will have to bring their A game to all of those matches.A positive and ominus sign however is the form of George at the moment,if he continues playing his current style of Rugby ,we are certainly a long way our targets,he was great in a beaten side as was Lethal Leigh Murphy who came on for BJ and killed em,while Kimey and Joel were good also.Bring on Hills.

Seconds are still well on top of the table despite a 19-19 draw against third placed Epping. This team is a great premiership chance, but if it continues to give away starts and take so long to get into top gear, and not start and stay totally focused, they find lesser teams getting advantages they dont really deserve. To their credit when the boys switched on they really made a game of it in a match which still had positives,Turtle scoring a another of his classic individual tries, and veteran Jon Wickenden who continues to impress, while Leigh Murphy was also strong.

Colts played plenty of positive Rugby but had to settle for a draw after conceeding a late try to give the home team a point, and thus costing the young Blueys the chance to move into the top four.Once again the colts front row of Jed Sinclair and Jared Cremona gave their everything and used their talents to give the boys every chance of a much needed win,but a draw still has them only one point out of the semi final race, and over the next month the ball is in their court.

Thirds continue to power their way to victory and at the moment are showing what sticking to a match plan and playing for each other can do with a club record equalling 64-0 victory.Through great talent and the correct attitude the boys are intimidating their opponents week in and week out,and now they are set for the big one Saturday against Hills, the boys looking for revenge form their only loss of the season. In a match which saw them go an amazing six weeks without conceeding a point,Monty Sopoaga was once again unstoppable, while Arron Childs had a wow of a time showcasing his talents all over the paddock.

Fours found themselves in a bit of bother against Epping, whose slick backs set the scene in the first half led 5-0 at the break, but the second spell the Blueys started to play with a lot more purpose, the forward pack in particular really hitting their straps and giving the opposition a hammering to be the backbone of a 24-5 win which puts the team into third place.Dayne Nicholls was as his brilliant best, while the likes of Alex and Isaac really poured on the class, big challenge saturday against comp leaders Hills at the goat track
