It wasnt pretty,it wasnt polished, but to a depleted Blue Mountains team a 17-12 away win against Lindfield was just what the doctor ordered. The home side had a dominant share of possession, but the Blueys defended as if their lives depended on it in a tense and close game of Rugby.Joel Togo was in  sensational form and was a worthy winner of man of the match and players player honours,Will Hannen made a gutsy first grade debut.George,Gary Kime,Nick OGorman,Alex Pinson, and “Shaun Kenny” Duncan were also major contributors on the day.

It was a hard day at the office for seconds, losing their top of the table clash by five points,as in all matches so far this season,it was tough going all the way with classy lock Liam Butler once again showing just how much talent he has while the likes of Bully,Matt Wilton, and Daniel Farrugia, and Ash also showed class.Colts were beaten 29-5 by top of the table Lindfield trying all the way,Damian Jones was a stand out, while Lachie McNicol and of course Luke Ruttley were also on fire, thirds were pipped 19-17 in a match they could have so easily won,Mitch Reinhardt scored a memorable try,but it was the raw talent of Adam Simpson that really impressed everyone at the ground, and he got great support from the likes of Wade and Connor.Fourths kicked off the day being outclassed by Lindfield, but after many years the name of Drinkwater appeared back in the double blue jumper, and marque signing Rob made sure that his return was one riddled with talent and ability, with great efforts also from Brent Kerahona and Dave Thomas.Next Saturday its Rugby under lights at the College Oval Richmond against Hawkesbury AG,fourths starting the day at 2pm,while firsts kick off at 7pm.
